The Cajon Boulevard Guardrails project replaced existing and installed new metal beam guardrails to improve roadway safety, reduce collision severity, and protect motorists along approximately eleven locations on Cajon Boulevard in the Devore area. The project was delivered on schedule and within budget through effective coordination among the County divisions, contractor, and utility agencies. Strategic placement of guardrails enhanced traffic safety while minimizing environmental and community impacts. Cost-effective design and construction ensured long-lasting performance, providing a safer transportation network and demonstrating the value of collaborative, efficient public works delivery.
Construction was completed with minimal disruption to traffic and surrounding neighborhoods and reducing delays.
Overall, the project contributed to a safer, more sustainable transportation system, improving residents’ quality of life through enhanced safety for motorists.
