Hydrology

The Hydrology Section collects and maintains a comprehensive range of climatological data from across the County, including precipitation, streamflow, and temperature records. This information is stored in a specialized database and supports a variety of critical functions such as flood control and storm warning systems, hydraulic and structural design, runoff modeling, environmental assessments, and legal or insurance-related documentation. 

Summarized datasets are available for public download. For more specialized data products or custom analyses, please contact our office using the information provided below. 

Please note: Groundwater data collection and management responsibilities have been transferred to the Water Resources Institute.
