The Department of Public Works – Special Districts is pleased to announce the successful completion of the CSA 70 R-51 Old Toll Access Roads Paving Project. This accomplishment was especially noteworthy given the challenges posed by the steep slopes and narrow roadways inherent to the mountainous terrain. This project encompassed improvements to approximately 2,271 linear feet of the existing deteriorated paved roads in the Old Toll Access Roads, Lake Arrowhead, CA 92352.

The scope of work includes the pulverization of old asphalt, followed by the shaping, grading, and compaction of the existing surfaces. The project also involved repaving with hot asphalt mix and applying feathered overlays to existing driveways and parking areas. These enhancements are intended to preserve and improve the structural integrity, maintenance, and durability of the roadway infrastructure.

The Department takes pride in this significant achievement and is committed to ongoing maintenance of these upgraded roads for the benefit of our community.
