The County has recently reviewed its maintained uncontrolled intersections throughout the desert areas and installed 450 new STOP signs to enhance safety. Installations have taken place across the High Desert in the communities of Adelanto, Barstow, Joshua Tree, Landers, Lucerne Valley, Newberry Springs, Phelan, and Victorville.
