The San Bernardino County Public Works Department has completed the Laurel Avenue Sidewalk Project in the Bloomington Area. The project was funded by the developer fee payment to Bloomington Infrastructure Improvement Fund to construct new sidewalk, curb, and gutter on the west side of Laurel Avenue from Mindanao Street to approximately 190′ north, updating existing curb ramps in accordance with current design/ADA standards. The Project aligns with the County and the Chief Executive Officer’s goals and objectives of ensuring development of a well-planned, balanced, and sustainable County by completing pedestrian improvements that will be utilized by Bloomington High School students and other pedestrians in the community, including those with disabilities.
