San Bernardino County is proud to announce the completion of the Pipeline Avenue and Other Roads Project, enhancing vital infrastructure in the Chino and Montclair areas.

This extensive road improvement project included repaving and reconstructing roads, installing ADA-accessible ramps, new sidewalks, curbs, gutters, storm drains, and traffic signal upgrades. Additional work included applying new traffic striping and pavement markings to ensure safety and efficiency for both drivers and pedestrians.

The construction contract for the project totaled $6,177,899.11 and was made possible through a combination of funding sources: the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Fund, City of Montclair funds, Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and Senate Bill 1 (SB1) Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account (RMRA) revenue.

This project supports the County and Board of Supervisors’ commitment to creating a well-planned, balanced, and sustainable region. It also reflects their ongoing efforts to meet the safety, health, and quality-of-life needs of residents through collaboration with cities and regional partners.

We thank the community for its patience during construction and look forward to the benefits this investment will bring to local neighborhoods for years to come.
