San Bernardino County Public Works has completed a major road improvement project covering nearly 17 miles in the unincorporated Barstow area. Crews worked together to prepare roads, apply chip and fog seals, add fresh paint, and update road markings. This work helps extend the life of our roads, improves safety, and enhances driving conditions.
For this project, teams used a new fog seal product called E-Fog, which allowed roads to reopen to traffic faster and reduced inconvenience for drivers. The successful completion of this project reflects the County’s ongoing commitment to keeping our roads safe, smooth, and well-maintained.
