DPW operations Baldy Mesa crew recently complete a full depth patch along Summit Valley Rd. This location has been an ongoing trouble spot resulting in potholes and a low spot in the roadway. Crews removed the existing asphalt and several inches of the subgrade. Class 2 base was then compacted in lifts to correct the subgrade failures, and a final layer of fresh asphalt was applied.
