Public Works has completed the Valley Boulevard and Other Roads Project in the Bloomington Area. The Project was funded with Senate Bill 1 (SB 1) Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account (RMRA) funds and the project consisted of constructing ADA curb ramps, mill and overlay treatments, and placing traffic striping pavement markings on Valley Boulevard from Alder Avenue to Spruce Avenue, Cedar Avenue from Bloomington Avenue to Randall Avenue, and Slover Avenue from Locust Avenue and Linden Avenue. The Project aligns with the Board of Supervisors’ goals and objectives of ensuring development of a well-planned, balanced, and sustainable county and providing safety, health, and social service needs of county residents.
