The San Bernardino County Public Works Department has completed the South Fontana Americans with Disabilities Act Ramps Project – Phase 1 in the South Fontana area. The project construction contract cost was $557,819.00 and was funded by grant revenue from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds.  The project consisted of the installation or reconstruction of 28 curb ramps in accordance with current design standards and pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines.  The project aligns with the County, Board of Supervisors and Chief Executive Officer’s goals and objectives of ensuring the development of a well-planned, balanced, and sustainable County and providing the safety, health, and social service needs of County residents.
