Project Overview
The San Bernardino County Department of Public Works has substantially completed the Lynwood Drive and Other Roads Project, a roadway improvement project designed to preserve and improve existing road surfaces.
Work included micro-milling, mill-and-overlay paving, rubberized chip seal, Type II slurry seal, and replacement of damaged curb and gutter, spandrels, and cross gutters within the project limits.
Corrective work on Edgemont Avenue, Las Flores Drive, and portions within the City of San Bernardino is expected to continue through next week.
Project Location
The project included roads within the Arrowhead Farms, Del Rosa, and Highland areas of San Bernardino County.
Project Completion
The primary project construction has been completed. Remaining corrective work on Edgemont Avenue, Las Flores Drive, and City portions is expected to be completed next week.

The improvements help preserve the structural integrity of existing roadways, extend the useful life of pavement, and provide safer and more reliable roadway conditions for residents and motorists.

Project Funding
The project construction contract amount was $10,324,431.
Funding was provided through Senate Bill 1 (SB 1) and the City of San Bernardino.
