The San Bernardino County Department of Public Works is proud to announce the successful completion of the 35th Street at Elmwood Storm Drain Replacement Project in the Del Rosa area!

The Project consisted of removing and replacing storm drain pipes, a catch basin, and a cleanout; constructing a new outlet and other work appurtenant thereto. The construction contract cost was $321,009 and was funded with Gas Tax.

This project aligns with the County and Board of Supervisors’ goals and objectives of ensuring the development of a well-planned, balanced, and sustainable County and providing for the safety of County residents.

The flowline of the existing corrugated metal pipe storm drain is rusted which is compromising the integrity of the pavement above potentially causing a sink hole.
