Camp Cajon asked DPW to repaint the Route 66 pavement marking for their upcoming 105th Anniversary and Open House on July 4th.  DPW went above and beyond their request and had a contractor trim back overgrown vegetation along the roadway. Baldy Mesa Yard Operations crews then graded the dirt shoulders, replaced some weathered signs, cleaned up trash in the area, graded the parking area for Camp Cajon and did some asphalt repairs to a roadside drainage swale.  TOS Operations crews then followed up and repainted the Route 66 pavement marking as requested.
