The San Bernardino County Department of Public Works has completed the Macy Street Sidewalk Project in the Muscoy Area. The Project was funded by Gas Tax and Community Development Block Grant funds to do street asphalt improvements and installing new cub, gutter and sidewalk on the west side of Macy Street, between Darby Street and Blake Street, in the Muscoy area, in accordance with current design standards pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines. The Project aligns with the County and the Chief Executive Officer’s goals and objectives of ensuring development of a well-planned, balanced and sustainable County and providing for the safety of County residents by improving access for all pedestrians, including those with disabilities.
