During periods of heavy precipitation, the native soil along Aster Rd, Begonia Rd, and Camellia Rd becomes overly saturated, resulting in muddy conditions making it difficult for residents to access their homes. DPW maintenance crews imported approximately 1,500 tons of class 2 aggregate base, grading and compacting it in lifts, to help improve traction and reduce muddy conditions during future storms events.
