Repairs were made on National Trails Highway (NTH) bridge 85 consisting of replacement of the supplemental wood bent cap on span number 2 with concrete footings and wood uprights; this bent cap and the uprights got washed out on the storm on September 1st, 2023, such storm also washed out behind the NE wingwall which caused the bridge to be shut down.
Our Crew also replaced all the wood on the east side of the abutment wall of the bridge, and NE wingwall and extended 30 ft. with ecology concrete blocks to prevent the water from getting behind the wingwall and abutment.
