The San Bernardino County Public Works has completed the Saw Mill Drive Drainage Project in the Big Bear City Area. The project cost was $768,247 and was funded by Gas Tax funds. The work, in general, consist of replacing an existing storm drain, constructing a new concrete box culvert, concrete channel, headwalls, curb and gutter, and asphalt concrete and base; removing a small portion of asphalt pavement; removing and installing chain link fence; installing traffic striping and signs; and utility relocation.  This project aligns with the County and Board of Supervisor’s goals and objectives of ensuring development of a well-planned, balanced, and sustainable County and providing for the safety, health, and social needs of County residents.
