San Bernardino County Solid Waste Management Division constructed a new 8.2 acre lined waste cell to accept residents’ waste at the Landers Sanitary Landfill. The project which took nine months was completed in August 2023. The completed project will provide waste disposal capacity for the next 3 to 4 years. Solid Waste Management Division projects are funded through the fees paid for disposal.
